Project Description

Patte Vanden Berg makes “upcycled” coats out of sweaters and other materials (leather and lace included). I did a quick WordPress site while in school for practice to showcase some of her work while she still had a studio in the River Arts District. Since she takes found fabrics and often discarded & used sweaters, etc. to create her new works of art, she wanted to show a scarab, otherwise known as the “dung beetle” in her logo, because the scarab represents recycling of waste into works of art. Since she likes to stand out, she wanted to use a 3″ round business card, which she could also punch and attach to her creations for identification like a hang tag.
