Atia had a firm idea how she wanted her site to look and behave, and she was coming from a “mobile first” design perspective, counting on lots of scrolling. She wanted to match the paint colors she’d chosen for her new Blow Dry Bar–the first ever in Asheville–and wanted an elegant yet approachable website, playful yet alluring, to draw potential customers in to this new service to Asheville.
Once we had the website set up, she needed several print pieces as well, including modifying the logo another designer had started, creating business cards, menus of services, a hiring flyer to get staff, a small ad, etc. It was fun to see it all come together, and after a little introduction to MailChimp, Atia and her staff are up and running, sending out specials and drumming up business and keeping very busy.
